Sculpture, Collage, and Digital Photography

The joy of combining various materials and mediums and placing them together like puzzle pieces creates the challenge that I love about mixed media work. I find humor in the absurdity of placing unrelated things together and creating an intentional dialogue with the viewer. In the early 2000s, when I began to incorporate sculptural materials and found objects into the work, this additive process became three-dimensional.  This experimental method of deconstructing and reexamining materials has always found its way into my regular practice.
