Drawing has always been my anchor and where my deepest connection is to making art. Through the use of charcoals, rags, and erasers, I simultaneously push and pull my subject matter back and forth from the recognizable to the abstract.  My roots in Abstract Expressionism surface in my approach, often creating a vigorous and frenzied method of application.
